Winning Grace was founded under the leading of the Holy Spirit in 2014, a ministry devoted to helping people begin, and grow, a personal relationship with God through Jesus the Christ.
The meaning of the name
Why “Winning Grace”
In the original revelation, the name was about a personal relationship with God. The clarification came plainly:
It is on the platform of personal relationship with Me that My people will obtain the winning grace.
That is the heart of everything we do: the winning grace, the grace to win in all the challenges of life, is obtained on the foundation of knowing God personally and walking closely with Him.
The founder
Pastor John Solarin
John Solarin grew up in Nigeria and was active in church from the age of seven, serving in many different roles. Yet it was not until March 1999, as a young man already in his twenties, that he gave his life to Christ at a crusade in Surulere, Lagos.
That moment settled a conviction he carries to this day: being in church, and even being active in church, does not by itself mean a person is saved.
In 2012, during a personal time of praise, the Lord spoke to his heart and called him into ministry. In September of that year the call was made clear: to found a ministry that helps people begin a personal relationship with God, and helps those who already know Him continue to grow a thriving relationship with Him. John is called as a teacher of the Word of God.
