What We Believe

Standing on the Word of God

Winning Grace is unapologetically Christian. Jesus the Christ is Lord and Savior. We hold to the historic, Bible-believing Christian faith, and we are not ashamed of the gospel.

01

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is true, without error in all it affirms, and the final authority for our faith, doctrine, and daily living.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105

02

The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, one in essence, equal in power and glory.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

03

Jesus the Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and is coming again. He is Lord and Savior, the only way to the Father.

John 1:1,14; John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Philippians 2:9–11

04

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells every believer, and empowers us to live a holy life and to witness for Christ. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit and that the gifts of the Spirit, including speaking in tongues, are for the Church today.

John 16:8–13; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11

05

Humanity and Sin

We believe all people are created in the image of God, yet all have sinned and fall short of His glory. Apart from Christ, sin separates us from God and brings spiritual death.

Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

06

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works. Whoever repents and believes in Him is forgiven, born again, and made a child of God.

Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5

07

A Personal Relationship with God

We believe God desires not mere religion but a living, personal relationship with each of His children, a relationship in which we know Him, walk with Him daily, and grow ever closer to Him. It is on this platform that His people obtain the grace to win.

Jeremiah 29:13; John 17:3; Philippians 3:10

08

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who trust in Him, called to worship God, grow in His Word, love one another, and reach the world with the gospel.

Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11–16; Hebrews 10:24–25

09

Baptism and Communion

We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward declaration of the inward work of salvation, and in the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s death until He comes.

Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

10

The Return of Christ and Eternity

We believe in the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life with God for the redeemed and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.

Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4

This statement reflects what Winning Grace believes and teaches. Scripture quotations are from the New King James Version (NKJV).
